Lambda Akustikk provides consultancy services and conduct measurements within the fields of building acoustics and noise control. Sound insulation, room acoustics and noise measurements are our key areas. We perform measurments according to valid standards and regulations. We have a high-quality, modern instrument park suitable for a variety of acoustical measurements.

Besides the acoustics consultancy services, Lambda Akustikk has been into development of hardware and software for acoustical measurements. An example is the L-MS-01, the active hemi-dodecahedron measurement loudspeaker designed for building acoustics and room acoustical measurements. Thanks to the integrated class-D amplifier technology, the L-MS-01 represented a huge step towards simplification of field acoustical measurements when it was intoduced in 2005.

Lambda Akustikk was established in 2003. We are located in Harstad, centrally located in northern Norway. The business model is to offer acoustical consultancy servies of competitive quality and cost in northern Norway, as a result of limited offerings within the field in this part of the country. Througout the years, the company has gained a broad project portfolio including smaler and larger projects across northern Norway. Our customers include both privately owned enterprises as well as public institutions.

Lambda Akustikk is owned by Simon Carlsen. Carlsen holds a M.Sc. in acoustics and telcommunications, in addition to a B.Sc. in electronics.

Our goal is to be a preferred, thrustful provider of acoustical services within our key areas.
